We hope to have 30 of each to help test us this evening in advance of the official release tomorrow. In this video I am going to dual boot Arch Linux and macOS Catalina on a MacBook Pro 13' 2015. However in the mean time, we would like to gather up some extra testers for both the Mac and Linux clients. This means that the release will now take place tomorrow. We tried to ensure that we would be able to manage by preventing any new commits or changes from going through, everything was on hold apart from Patch 181 and the client. Still a ton of work to be done for it to feel like a real Arch machine and look/act the part. Sadly due to sucky bandwidth issues at the office, we’re unable to fully release the Mac and Linux client today. Latest arch iso was broken so had to use an older archboot image to boot via usb drive with usb keyboard, then install basic system to disk, then upgrade in ramdisk to latest arch, install systemd-boot to efi, finally got it installed after 4 hrs.
